This new facility co-locates three municipal departments: sheriff, cooperative extension, and social services. Feature spaces include: administration areas, health exam rooms, interview rooms, therapy areas and resource management rooms. The Family Resource Center shares a site with a branch municipal library, also designed and constructed at the same time.

More than 60 plumbing fixtures serve this building.  The ever-changing needs of this facility dictate that the water and waste piping systems be designed to allow for the inevitable need to add or relocate plumbing services.  Packaged variable air volume air handling systems with terminal reheat units serve the center.  Heating is provided by a central boiler.  Electrical system design includes fire alarm, building security, television and a central computing center.  The telecommunications infrastructure is modeled after the latest standards and includes 140 wired outlets for ultimate flexibility.
