Garner Town Hall
Town of Garner
Construction Cost$7.5 M
Following a planning study, this new facility is designed to address the needs of a growing community. The original municipal building required extensive renovation, space was limited, and departments were not centrally located. Town leaders recognized the need to add space and upgrade facilities to better assist the community, accommodate increasing demands for town services, and also provide for future growth. The new Town Hall is a multi-department municipal building with Town Council chambers and offices, meeting and conference rooms, training areas, and open and closed offices for current and future employees. The open, spacious design allows for visitors to easily access town services all in one place. Large monitors, presentation screens, and additional technology are incorporated into the space for better communication with the public.
Stanford White engineering design includes fire sprinkler and plumbing infrastructure; HVAC systems; power, lighting, and fire alarm, plus site telecommunications design between the new Town Hall and the adjacent Wake County Library.
