As part of a comprehensive building and site upgrade project, Stanford White provided mechanical and electrical renovations to seven existing residence buildings located in an area on campus known as the Quad. This “gut and replace” project converted hall style dormitories into primarily single and double bed living spaces. Common area spaces were also renovated and/or added. Site utilities were replaced throughout the Quad grounds. Modern systems were incorporated such as security, card reader, telecommunications, fire alarm, fire sprinkler, HVAC and energy efficient lighting.
