COX HALL: SCALE-UP CLASSROOM

Cox Hall is a 6-level building whose current purpose is labs, offices, and teaching spaces for the College of Sciences. This project renovated the entire first floor and a portion of the third floor. The upgrades included the conversion of offices into (2) 99-seat “SCALE-UP” classrooms, and (2) 48-seat “110” classrooms. Renovations included the replacement of VAV terminals and ductwork to support the new floor plan, modification of air handling system to accommodate increased ventilation, and significant modification of electrical systems to support the technology inherent with this type of education space.
