Stanford White approaches every project looking for practical applications of sustainable design. Optimum energy efficiency, water efficiency and indoor environment are important design criteria. However, these objectives must also fall within the constraints of construction budgets and maintenance capabilities.
We believe sharing our expertise is our responsibility. We began as an energy engineering firm and continue to lead the profession in educating clients on best practices and shaping important legislation. By participating in professional societies, speaking at conferences, and civic volunteering, we are active leaders in the community.
Stanford White is also a member of the U.S. Green Building Council and nine (9) members of our design staff are LEED Accredited Professionals. We currently have 11 LEED Certified projects including Wake Technical Community College Building D, our first LEED Gold certification.
