Bill is a mechanical engineer with a passion for client service and promotion of the engineering profession.
His client engineering focus is special projects. He actively provides services such as: master planning, project development, project management, engineering design, field investigations and systems analysis.
In-house, Bill is the principal in charge of business development and long-term corporate planning. He enjoys personal interface with clients, staff and industry colleagues. This underscores his dedication to supporting the engineering design profession through service on boards and committees, as well as writing articles and speaking at conferences.
His broad-based experience began in 1983 through part-time jobs during college with a mechanical contracting company and an engineering consulting firm. Those days installing piping in a hospital and hand-drafting building plans laid a foundation for Bill’s current understanding of and loyalty to the AEC industry. He graduated with a mechanical engineering degree from N.C. State University.
Bill’s personal focus includes his faith, family and service. He most enjoys spending time with family and friends, playing guitar, watching Wolfpack sports and H20 recreation (being in, on or near the water).
